CHURCH CEREMONIES-Anglican & Catholic

 St. Paul's Church, Ayia Kyryaki

This beautiful Byzantine Church is bursting with history and sits in a secluded area in Kato Paphos away from the hustle & bustle of every day life, it has a wonderfully picturesque and historic setting for a Wedding. Anglican wedding ceremonies can take place on Monday, Tuesday & Saturday or Catholic ceremonies can take place on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday.


 

St. George Chapel

This stunning Chapel with its brightly coloured interior and its red and cream exterior, has a more modern appearance and sits on a hilly outcrop, it's domed roof and lovely arched windows make this church an idyllic setting for a chapel wedding, This Church is ideal for smaller Wedding parties, Anglican wedding ceremonies can take place on Wednesday, Thursday & Friday, or Catholic wedding ceremonies can take place on Monday or Tuesday.

 

YACHT WEDDINGS

With a choice of 4 yachts, why not opt for a wedding cermony on board whilst moored at paphos harbour,looking over the open seas, choose from a civil ceremony,Religious ceremony, renewal of vows or blessing, this is a truly amazing once in a lifetime experience.

CIVIL CEREMONIES

Civil ceremonies can take place between Monday & Friday, and can take place at any of the town halls listed below or within your hotel grounds or on board a yacht moored at Paphos harbour.

Paphos Town Hall

Situated in the old town of Paphos with its Greek columns and marble steps, this historic building is an ideal setting for those wishing to have their wedding ceremony at an inside venue, this town hall has two rooms for you to choose from depending on the size of your wedding party & is fully air conditioned.

 

 Peyia Town Hall

This beautiful outside venue is located in the heart of Peyia village the ceremony area is a quaint courtyard, with steps leading down to the ceremony area, which is shaded by a gazebo and beautiful flowers and trees. A lovely setting for your Wedding in Cyprus.


 

Yeroskipou Town Hall

This beautiful outside venue is situated within the village of Yeroskipou with its sand stone walls, it has a large covered area to give shade and a large green area to the front of the venue. A perfect place for your Wedding.

 

HOTEL WEDDINGS

Your wedding ceremony can take place within the grounds of most hotels within the Paphos area, including a gazebo, chairs, and only yards from the sea. For further information on hotel wedding ceremonies and recommendation of hotels please contact us.

 


BEACH WEDDINGS

Beach side weddings are becoming more and more popular, your wedding ceremony can take place only yards from the beach, with a gazebo or marquee, chairs, a drinks reception can be arranged after your ceremony, before sitting down for a traditional Cypriot meze or a formal 3/5 course meal, at the local taverna a short walk away from your ceremony area, to finish off a perfect day traditional Cypriot dancers and or Dj can be arranged to entertain your guests.



THE ETHNOGRAPHIC MUSEUM IN PAPHOS

This is an interesting, attractive and private new wedding venue in paphos, the museum has been owned by the Eliades family for generations, and was founded in 1958, the ceremony area is set in a beautiful courtyard surrounding the museum,civil ceremonies are conducted in the courtyard by a marriage officer from the local town hall, alternatively you can have an Anglican or Catholic ceremony conducted by a local priest or vicar, bookings are made every one & half hours, giving each couple and their guests time to reflect on the wedding service and browse around the museum, champagne and canapés can be served after the ceremony if you wish.

Blessings can be arranged at the following Chapels. • Azia Hotel Chapel • Kefalos Hotel Chapel • Elysium Hotel Chapel • On board a yacht moored at Paphos harbour • Hotel grounds Blessing’s can only be continued after your civil ceremony in one of the Town Halls.

RENEWAL OF VOWS
